The Hospitaller (in some groups called the Chatelaine or Gold Key) helps newcomers understand the basics of the SCA and keeps the group's supply of loaner clothing and dishes for newcomers to borrow until they can buy or make their own. He or she may also be responsible for generating flyers or handouts (all of which must be approved by the Kingdom Hospitaller). Contact this officer if you are new to the SCA (or just the local group), if you are bringing newcomers who will need loaner gear, or if you have ideas for PR materials.
The Knight Marshal's job is to run fighter practice and ensure safety on the field. Cooperation with the rules of the list and maintaining armor standards to help keep everyone safe. The Minister of Arts and Sciences reports on the things Canton members make and learn. He or she may organize competitions, workshops, or lectures. Contact this officer if you would like to organize an A&S gathering or event, or for information on who in the area shares your interests or teaches.
The Pursuivant Extraordinary is the herald for the group. The Heralds helps people develop a persona name and armory to use in the SCA. The heralds also takes care of reporting awards and maintaining precedence updates, in addition to making announcements and doing field heraldry or court heraldry. Contact this officer for information on submitting a name, device, badge or for information on the various aspects of heraldry.
The Exchequer sometimes called a Reeve, handles the money for the group. Contact this officer for information on holding fundraisers, requesting funds for your office or for budgeting an event.
Webminister Webminster, or webmistress as I like to be called is basically in charge of keeping all information on the website up to date.
The Captain of Archers (reporting to the Knight Marshal) runs archery practice and ensures safety on the field. The captian of archers also submits scores to the Kingdom scorekeeper for Kingdom and Inter-Kingdom shoots.
